About the Vertex Portal

The Vertex Portal is a secure web app that connects everyone involved in a survey job: installers who book surveys, Vertex staff who schedule and quality-check them, and the design team who deliver the final pack. It’s one place to book jobs, see where each job is in the pipeline, and get your PDF and photos when they’re ready.

In short: installers submit jobs here; Vertex staff link surveys, generate PDFs, and publish packs; installers (and customers) get deliverables through the portal.

How a job moves through the portal

Every booking moves through the same pipeline: BookedScheduledSurveyQuality checkDesignReadyDelivered. You’ll see these stages on each job. Installers book and download; Vertex staff schedule, link surveys, run QC, generate PDFs, and publish to installer.

Features at a glance

You see the same screens as Admin: Bookings (list and detail of every job), Dashboard, Admin (feature flags, system, emails, invoices), Installers, Surveyors, Datasheets, QC, Pack Navigator, Calendar. The difference is you cannot change anything—no Save, Publish, Link, Send, or edit.

Your guide: Admin viewer

Your role: Read-only admin. You see the same screens as Admin (bookings, installers, surveyors, datasheets, QC, invoices, etc.) but you cannot change anything—no Save, Publish, Link, Send, or edit.

Use it for: Auditing, training, or support without risk of accidental edits. You can still download packs and open bookings to explain the pipeline to others.
