About the Vertex Portal

The Vertex Portal is a secure web app that connects everyone involved in a survey job: installers who book surveys, Vertex staff who schedule and quality-check them, and the design team who deliver the final pack. It’s one place to book jobs, see where each job is in the pipeline, and get your PDF and photos when they’re ready.

In short: installers submit jobs here; Vertex staff link surveys, generate PDFs, and publish packs; installers (and customers) get deliverables through the portal.

How a job moves through the portal

Every booking moves through: BookedScheduledSurveyQuality checkDesignReadyDelivered. You can book surveys and check status; you cannot download PDFs or photos—that’s for installer_design and installer_master only. Reps keep booking simple and leave pack access to the right people.

Features at a glance

Installer (home) — Book a survey: postcode, job type, customer details. Submit and the job enters the pipeline.

Bookings — Your org’s list. Open a booking to see stage (Booked, Scheduled, Survey, QC, Design, Ready, Delivered). When it’s Ready or Delivered, your design team or master will download the pack.

Download — By design, only installer_design and installer_master can download PDF and photos. Reps only book and view status.

Your guide: Installer rep

Your role: Book surveys and check status. You cannot download PDFs or photos—that’s for installer_design and installer_master only.

Typical flow: Book a survey from Installer home → check Bookings to see when a job is Ready or Delivered. Your design team or org admin does the actual download.
