Turnaround & revisions

  • Turnaround: Survey pack in portal same day as visit; EPC by next morning; heat loss calculation next day when included.
  • Revisions: Scope and outputs are agreed before booking. If something that was in scope has been missed, we correct it without turning it into a second sale.

Desktop heat loss — when you don't need a site visit

The Heat loss only (£150) option can be produced two ways: from data we capture on a Vertex site visit, or as a fully desktop calculation from documents you send us. The desktop route works when you can provide reliable inputs — typically floor plans (even hand-drawn), room-by-room dimensions, window sizes, construction type, insulation levels, and glazing details.

This is useful for homeowners gathering independent evidence before approaching installers, or for installer teams who already have measured inputs and just need the calculation and documented assumptions. All outputs are produced to MIS 3005-D with every assumption made visible in the pack.

How pricing is worked out

Every quote is built from the same three inputs: service scope, property size, and travel. You get the full price before booking, with no vague “starting from” conversation replacing an actual number.

Size uplifts

  • 200–300m²: +£100

  • Each extra 100m²: +£100

Travel and location

Travel is priced by distance and access complexity. If a site has unusual access constraints, we call that out in the quote so there are no surprises on survey day or in the invoice.
