What information do you need to price the job?

How much does a solar survey cost?

Guide pricing starts from £200. Location, roof complexity, property size and any battery or additional electrical scope can change the final price.

How long does the visit take?

Many domestic visits take around one to two hours. Larger properties, multiple roof areas, difficult access or combined solar and battery scope can take longer.

Does the survey include a structural assessment?

The standard survey records visible roof construction, condition and access evidence to the agreed scope. Formal structural calculations or an engineer's assessment must be commissioned separately where required.

Can battery storage be included?

Yes. Battery location, access and relevant electrical context can be added to the booking. Confirm the required storage scope when requesting the price.

Where does Vertex provide solar surveys?

Vertex provides solar surveys throughout the UK. Availability and travel are checked against the property postcode before the appointment is confirmed.
